According to today’s Daily Post, “Khalil Gibran once said that people will never understand one another unless language is reduced to seven words.”

I wonder how he came up with seven. Why not nine? Or three? Wouldn’t one be best anyway? Or how about none?

But the challenge is to pick the seven words you would pick if all of language were to be reduced to seven words.

I can only imagine what the debate would be like if this sort of decision were to go to any sort of committee, it would likely be endless.

Anyway, here are the seven words I choose:








The only problem I have with this list is the lack of the letter “C”. The letter “C” is the best letter of the alphabet.
