The day is almost over. The sun hides behind a curtain of clouds as it exits, stage left.

Six minutes to write two sentences. I had to stop and start over twice, just to get those. Not good, but better than this morning. Then I started, stopped, and started over at least five times, and I don’t even have two sentences to show for it.

My lunch is almost over. Then it’s back to work.

I have written quite a bit today, and likely will later. Just not here.

Maybe I will just post a random picture.

Here is a snake that my wife and I met on a walk, a while back. I wanted to pet it, but I didn’t.

    1. Yes. Yes of course! That, ahh, that was the plan all along. Mmhmm. Yes indeed. Had it all thought out. Very sharp of you to see my cleverness. *clears throat* Yes. Yes of course. Nothing random and accidental here, folks. Nothing at all, no sir. *walks away quickly without making eye contact*

  1. I would like to pet snakes but Indiana Jones is my spirit animal and I am therefore terrified of them. I wasn’t expecting to see one at the end of this but at least it got the blood pumping when I ran off to get an emergency cup of tea and hide in the broom closet. I am better now that I imagine it to be a crochet snake instead that a seamstress dropped while out for a jog herself.
