Today we have the song “Let the Bodies Hit the Floor” by Drowning Pool.

And some goats.

Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor

Beaten why for (why for)
Can’t take much more
(Here we go, here we go, here we go)
One, nothing wrong with me
Two, nothing wrong with me
Three, nothing wrong with me
Four, nothing wrong with me
One, something’s got to give
Two, something’s got to give
Three, something’s got to give now

Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Push me again (again)
This is the end
(Here we go, here we go, here we go)

One, nothing wrong with me
Two, nothing wrong with me
Three, nothing wrong with me
Four, nothing wrong with me
One, something’s got to give
Two, something’s got to give
Three, something’s got to give now

Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor

Skin against skin, blood and bone
You’re all by yourself but you’re not alone
You wanted in now you’re here
Driven by hate consumed by fear

Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor

One, nothing wrong with me
Two, nothing wrong with me
Three, nothing wrong with me
Four, nothing wrong with me
One, something’s got to give
Two, something’s got to give
Three, something’s got to give now

Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor

One thought on “song lyric saturday

  1. Lol I never thought of that song being combined with floppy goats. Makes the song sound almost comical and far less crazy than in the music video, where the singer screams at old people. Have you heard Richard Cheese’s cover of “Down With The Sickness”? That heavy metal song by Disturbed is made to sound much more bombastic with sass, swing and Frank Sinatra crooning vibes. I’m amazed at artists that can take songs with a heavy mood/vibe and then completely take them in the opposite direction, despite the nature of the lyrics/subject matter. Having revisited it again, I need to check out some of his other covers by Richard Cheese (love me some brass band/big band remixes) but here is the Down With The Sickness one.
